Ray,
During class a gentleman pointed out that our advertising
didn't accurately represent the clientele at Evergreen Pilates. He was
right. Each week 20% of our classes are filled with guys who pump out the
Hundred like nobody's business. Yet in the past 30 or so advertisements, we
have only once featured a guy. Yikes!
It is time to give the guys credit, and answer once and for
all the question so many have asked. Yes - men do Pilates! Joseph Pilates
was a guy. In addition to practicing his method, he boxed, skied, tumbled,
and in his day was the fitness trainer for the German Police.
So gentlemen, we are very glad that you've chosen Pilates
for your powerhouse training and for your total body workout! And ladies -
thanks for encouraging your husbands and sons to get into the studio. Joe
would be proud!
